These must be desperate times if people are going to M&M sports den. The owner has treated my wife and some others we know like garbage. Unhelpful and rude to say the least. Do all yourselves a favor and drive out of the city to make your purchases. You'll thank me later.

I think all of this gun control is just crazy. If someone wants to get a gun they will get one. I don't think many people that are going to be involved in a crime, I wouldn't hink they are going to use a gun bought in there name. I wonder how many Gun crimes are commited with guns that are registered in their own name? If someone wants a gun they are going to get one. This Control on people with honest intentions is NUTZ. Take a gun and set it on the table leave it there for a year, I bet it won't kill anyone! The saying GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE, PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE. Is very true. How many people are killed by a knife, hammer, fists, crowbars & pipes, This is just the government stepping on peoples rights.

people do have the right to buy a gun but I dont think having an assault rifle is necessary for regular people, on law inforcement and military

The style of the rifle is all about appearance, not ability! Most hunting rifles can do anything the fictitious assault rifle can do.

New York. SHEEP Way to cave in to those wanting to dismantle the constitution. Spineless - Gutless. Control. Not about Gun Control. Register all now. To be taken away later. SHEEP. Sad times. Don't ever leave yourself defenseless. GUN FREE ZONES = like ringing the dinner bell.

God , Guns and Guts made this country and is the only thing to keep it. A society that can't defend it's self will surely be ruled by tyranny.

If you need to run out and buy a gun ...because you think it will be banned...maybe you need a mental evaluation. Stockpiling guns shows some sort of delusional thinking.

Good picture Bruce, should have took pistol grip off so rifle shown as legal. a 223 cal. rifle with pistol grip , ( the rifle the governor supposedly is after)"assault rifle" will go threw one person and the legal 308 cal. deer rifle (shoulder stock) can go through 3 people and bullet proof vest, hmm, pistol grip makes assault rifle, the governor has no clothes as I read earlier, lol

I don't think the gun laws that were given way back when were put in place for these times of the world today! You can complain all you want, be upset all you want and write any and all remarks you want about how it is the person not the gun and it still comes down to something has to be done! The fact is no-one needs these kinds of guns and if you are that worried about the gov. move to another Country! Tell the parents of the small children that were slaughtered or the families of all the other people who were murdered just because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time.Talk about your rights, what about their rights. I feel if one life is saved through this law it is worth it. These are new times and new conditions in the world. If you want to cry go the funerals of those innocent people and small children who were slaughtered! That should make you understand a little better there is a true reason to cry and it is not because of your rights. Where were their rights!

When referring to this new law poorpockets, please do not refer to the "small children that were slaughtered." This law does nothing to prevent another event like the one in Newtown. This law is nothing more than grandstanding by government officials who have no idea what to do to stop gun violence. This law is a smokescreen so that people think our elected officials are trying to make changes. This will do nothing to positivly impact any one of our safety. All it has done is encouraged people who would not normally own a gun to go out and buy one while they can. That sure as heck does not make me feel very safe.

Poorpocket spoken like a true leftist. You sound so much like Obama its scary. You want your goverment to take care of you. Here is thought for people like you if you take guns away. Do you really think you will stop the nuts out there Imean the ones that are not politicians? No they will get more creative and maybe use bombs or other ways to kill. Oh Im sorry you wertent smart enough to figure that out. As for the 2nd amendment it was ment to deter what we have in goverment now better known as tyrany.

when the guy who was the head of HUD & had absolutely no business experience before almost singlehandedly crashing the housing market runs for POTUS some of you geniuses will embrace statements like "after the tragedy in newtown i acted swiftly even before the white house & congress could act."

this is a precursor to 2016. this will be a partial platform for this guy. & now the libiots will be torn between billary clinton & andrew cuomo, the guy who when he was head of HUD gave everybody & their mother a limitless loan with no money down under the guise of the "american dream of homeownership."

This is not about gov. This is about people who want to go to a movie and not get picked off like target practice. This is about parents who want to be able to send their children to school and see them come home safe and alive. Apparently you were not listening to the parents of those children. This should not be voiced as a political fight or a fight between gun owners and non gun owners. This is something that is far passed be overlooked and change has to start somewhere. How dare you say don't talk about small children that were slaughtered. You are telling me not to speak the truth because you do not agree with it.You are telling me not to speak the facts. I have my right to speak the truth just as much as you have yours to agree or not to agree with it! There will always be someone who wants to hurt in this world just as thee will always be people who want to protect and bring change to stop them.

Sorry pockets I truly believe that evryone on this forum feels for the familys at Newtown. I truly believe in the rights of you or anyone for that matter to speak freely and to go anyplace without fear. But if you think that Coumo or Obama are acting on your behalf you are truly in for a rude awakening. That being said. Do you really think that taking guns away from lawabiding people will stop the killing in the world. If that were true I would be all for taking guns away but I live in the real world. I wonder what would have happend if a legal gun owner were at Newtown and killed that gunman. Would you be so eager for guns to be taken then?

i find it ironic that on a nat'l standard we do a better job protecting our gov't employees (you can't even bring a pocket knife to a municipal building, metal detectors, armed officers, et. al.) than we do our children.
