Nuts And Bolts Touch Of Class — Jerome Lee Yaw and four seniors on his Frewsburg girls soccer team deserve a big tip of the hat. Last Saturday night they won the Class C Far West Regionals to become the first area girls soccer team to qualify for the state tournament. The next day Lee Yaw was scheduled to coach in the 10th annual Senior Soccer Games and four of his players were supposed to play. But because the Frewsburg season was not over, the four seniors could not play. They were Nicole Pangborn, Elissa Mesler, Breanna Currie and Erika Fain. Just a few hours before that Senior Game, Lee Yaw and his team had won a regional title and a berth in the state tournament, so he would have been justified to ask if he could skip coaching in the game. But instead, Lee Yaw was there and so were his senior players, sitting on the bench to be as much a part of the team as they could and to offer their suppor.
