Victor M. ‘‘Vedo’’ Rivera III

He was born Sept. 9, 1979, in Jamestown, the son of Debra Tonkin Reedy and Victor M. Rivera Jr.

Victor attended Jamestown High School, obtained his GED, then was attending Jamestown Business College classes in business and marketing. He was employed by Bush Trimmers and Elite Kreations.

He is survived by his mother, Debra (stepfather, Robert) Reedy; his wife, Nona Lee Meachum Rivera; lifelong companion, Nicole Pischera; two sons: Markus Meachum Rivera and Anthony Vedo Rivera; three daughters: Alexandria Marie Rivera, Kylee Jo Lindahl, Madeline and Charlee Rivera and expecting child; three brothers: Ryan J. Rivera, Brennan Rivera and Parker Rivera; two sisters: Jade Lea Rivera and Randa Lea Rivera; 10 nieces and nephews: Ryan J. Rivera, Josiah M. Rivera, Mariah Jackson, Simeon Leeper, Remy Robles, Nina Robles, Annalise Caceres, Ava Caceres, Oakland Snow and Amelia Snow; one grandchild; and by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tonkin.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Helen Rivera; his father, Victor M. Rivera Jr.; and by his brother, Hunter Rivera.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019, at Healing Word Ministries Church of God, 1006 W. Thirsd St., Jamestown, following viewing a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., in the church. Bishop Leecroft Clarke will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
