Second Half Of Concert Association’s Season Begins

The second half of the Jamestown Concert Association’s season will begin Friday at 8 p.m. featuring the Chamber Orchestra Kremlin.

The performance will take place at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Fourth and Main streets, Jamestown.

The Chamber Orchestra Kremlin was founded and continues to be led by Misha Rachlevsky. The group has earned national and international recognition as one of Russia’s leading ensembles. The chamber orchestra maintains a busy touring schedule and offers a variety of musical programs.

“This group brings such a fun atmosphere while sustaining a wonderful classical music sound,” said Sally Ulrich, president of the Jamestown Concert Association. “We are thrilled to kick off the second half of our season with Chamber Orchestra Kremlin’s performance!”

Discounted presale tickets for this event are available at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts box office by calling 484-7070, and at Chautauqua Music and Germaine & Pappalardo. Tickets will also be available at the door and cost $20 for adults, $17 for seniors over the age of 65, $7.50 for college students, and free for students ages 18 and under.

Corporate sponsors are Jamestown Community College and Jamestown Rental Properties. The Jamestown Concert Association receives funding from the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, the Ralph C. Sheldon Foundation and the United Arts Appeal of Chautauqua County. The project is made possible with money from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo and the state Legislature and administered by Tri-County Arts Council.
