Southwestern Middle School officials recently released the school’s Students of the Month for January. They are:

Simeon Lewis, sixth grade and the son of Dan and Christi Lewis of Jamestown. His favorite subjects are physical education, social studies, math and band. Simeon plays on Southwestern Little League Baseball and is a member of Student Council. Outside of school, he likes to ski, play baseball and fly remote control airplanes.

Joslyn Brown, seventh grade and the daughter of Adam and Jenny Brown of Lakewood. Her favorite subjects are science, choir and band. Joslyn plays on the Southwestern track and field and modified soccer teams. She participates in the Southwestern musical and morning announcements. Outside of school, Joslyn is a member of the Girl Scouts of Western New York, Dancing with Victoria and Southwestern Summer Soccer. She loves art and hanging out with friends.

Elijah Stone, eighth grade and son of Rebecca Stone of Lakewood and Scott Stone of Jamestown. His favorite subjects are science and English language arts. Outside of school, Elijah plays on the Babe Ruth Baseball League, likes to watch TV and hang out with his family.
