The Resource Center and Dr. Mumtaz Karimi have reached agreement on a five-year contract extension.

Dr. Karimi has worked for The Resource Center since 2002. She is board-certified in internal medicine and has been a licensed physician for 29 years. She is listed on the Healthgrades honor roll and she recently was cited as one of Western New York’s outstanding physicians by Castle Connolly Medical, a health care research and information company that seeks to guide people to America’s top doctors and hospitals.

“It’s a pleasure to be a part of TRC health system, a system with hope in the community which is unmatched in its services and its commitment,” Karimi said.

The Resource Center is pleased that Dr.Karimi will continue to provide care to patients of TRC Community Health Center.

“Dr. Karimi’s patients know she is exceptionally thorough when addressing their concerns. She is a wonderful ally, particularly for patients with complex medical concerns,” said Marcia Restivo, The Resource Center’s clinical services director. “Dr. Karimi is wonderful to work with, and I couldn’t be more pleased that she has made this commitment.”
