Auto Group Names New Ed Shults General Manager

Shults Auto Group announced that Jack Anderson of Sinclairville has accepted the position of general manager and managing partner of Ed Shults Chevrolet and Shults Nissan Subaru.

Anderson joins a team of automobile professionals at the Fluvanna Avenue locations.

“We are tremendously excited that Jack has decided to return to Jamestown, and to join our executive management team,” said Tim Shults, Shults Auto Group president.

Anderson is the son of Jim and Connie Anderson, and grew up in Sinclairville. Anderson graduated from Cassadaga Valley Central School and went on to Fredonia State University to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in management, marketing and finance. After college, Anderson worked as service manager for Volkswagen / Audi of Jamestown for a couple of years. He then spent the next nine years in the construction equipment business, working for Nuttall Equipment Company with locations in Sherman, Buffalo and Rochester. Jack started as service manager and eventually vice president, overseeing all three locations. Anderson spent the next 10 years working for the McFadden Dealerships in Jamestown; first as fixed operations director then as general manager for the group. During the last 14 years, Anderson has worked as a corporate director for the West-Herr Automotive Group, overseeing 23 locations.

Anderson has lived in Chautauqua County all his life, currently living in Cassadaga with his wife, Candy and two children, Hunter Lewis (14) and Carter (8). Anderson’s hobbies include basketball, boating on Chautauqua Lake, camping and riding four wheelers, snowmobiles and dirt bikes with his children. Anderson also enjoys family travel and home projects such as remodeling and landscaping. Jack has participated in many fund-raising events, such as the “Ride for Roswell” event that has raised hundreds of thousands for the fight against cancer.
